Database Passwords

The databases to which the Jim and Patsy Rose Library subscribes are available only to the students, faculty and staff of Cleveland Community College. In light of this, it is necessary for us to limit access via the use of passwords for computers which are not on the college campus. We apologize for the inconvenience, but it's a necessity if we are to continue to make these resources available.

You may access the passwords:

Through Blackboard. Simply log into your Blackboard account and click on the “Library@Cleveland” tab at the top of the screen. The passwords are available on the page as well as in a rich text (.rtf) document for printing.
By emailing the library at library@clevelandcommunitycollege.edu and requesting “off-campus passwords.”
By asking at the circulation desk of the Jim and Patsy Rose Library.

Once you have the list of passwords, look for the database you are attempting to use. The method by which you log in will vary depending upon the database. Most will have "user name" and "password" fields, for which you should use the information listed under the database's name.
